The Marin City Health and Wellness Center is a low cost health clinic located in Marin City in the west wing of the Manzanita Recreation Center. The Clinic is a comprehensive, medically supervised program and facility built around a “medical model.” Patients have access to a mix of drop-in and by-appointment clinical services.
The purpose of the Marin City Health and Wellness Clinic is to provide primary and preventive health services to the traditionally under-served residents of Marin City and surrounding areas, including low-income individuals, people of color, and youth patients.

Opened on November 6,2006
The clinic is open ten hours a week and over a thousand patients were seen during the year. The Kaiser Foundation donated $150,000 in the form of equipment and construction. Marin General Hospital contributed supplies. Donations also were received towards equipment and medical supplies there are four physicians volunteering medical services Dr.Darren Lipschitz and Dr.Curtis Robinsion are the primary volunteer physicians. A podiatrist is available on the first Wednesday of the month. Plans are being developed for a girls teen clinic. A number of special Health events were presented including a visit by Senator Carol Migden and Assemblyman Jared Huffman.Several nurses are volunteering and presenting workshops for nutrition and breats cancer.
